And after a green passage in the Bois de Vincennes, the race ends with Notre-Dame Cathedral, and then the Eiffel Tower.
In total, last year's riders run a distance equivalent to two round trips between the Earth and the Moon! The winner of the Paris Marathon, for the second year in a row, was the Kenyan Paul Lonyangata. He crossed the finish in only 2 hours, 06 minutes and 25 seconds.
